This is the basic guide to making a page on Completely Uncut. Please be sure to know The Golden Rules of Completely Uncut.
Step A: The TableEdit
The first section of each page is the information table. Here is the code for you to use, just remember to fill in the required information:
MOVING FILMS Presents
A Film by BIG SHOT
Starring JOE FILM
Written by WRITEY MACWRITER
An examlple with all the info filled out is here:
METRO GOLDWYN MAYER Presents
A Film by ALAN PARKER
PINK FLOYD THE WALL (1982)
Starring BOB GELDOF
Written by ROGER WATERS
Step B: The ScenesEdit
After the table, a level two headline is to be placed. It should say "The Scenes." Each scene is to be detailed after a bullet, and the reason why it was deleted is good information to add:
- The sequence for the song "Hey You" was completed, but upon a viewing of the film, Alan Parker and Roger Waters found that the movie was too depressing. On a whim, Roger decided that Hey You should be deleted to lighten the film a bit.
Step C: The CategoriesEdit
After the scenes are detailed, the last step is to add the category links for the film company and the director. If the company or director doesn't have a category yet, be sure thier new categories are linked to Category:Companies or Category:Directors.
Step D: LinksEdit
Another level two headline should read "External Links." Here, there should be links to an official site, Wikipedia page, and IMDB page.
Step E: Save!Edit
After all the necessary information is added, go ahead and save the page! Give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy!
